WHAT DEVICES ARE COMPATIBLE WITH MUSE?
Muse is compatible with a wide range of Apple and Android devices.
- APPLE
- iPhone® 4S and higher
- iPad® 3 and higher
- iPad® Mini 1 and higher
- iPod® Touch (5th Gen) and higher
ANDROID
Muse works best with high-end devices which have Android 5.0-5.1.1. It may work with Android 4.4, depending on the specific device, but anything below Android 4.4 is not supported. Muse requires Bluetooth LE 4.0 or higher.

CAN I CREATE MULTIPLE USER ACCOUNTS?
Yes. Multiple people can use Muse by creating different accounts on their mobile devices using different email addresses.
WILL MUSE WORK WITH MY DESKTOP OR LAPTOP COMPUTER?
The Muse app is not available for desktop or laptop computers. However, if you are a developer, researcher, or engineer, our SDK and research tools are available for some desktop and laptop computers with Windows, Mac OSX or Linux. Visit developer.choosemuse.com for more details.
CAN MY CHILD USE MUSE?
The Muse headband is designed with a flexible and adjustable headband that fits most adult head sizes; however, children’s heads are sometimes too small to get a good fit and strong connection to the sensors. For this reason, we recommend Muse for individuals of 16 years of age or older. For more information please review our End User License Agreement.
